I have only seen it on a few badges such as the F&F yeomanry. Alas the same design was worn from 1908-60's so that is no help in narrowing down to a date.

Well it was an auction result so 'worth' is relative but I think it is now vastly over priced after the findings of this thread. I suspect the 2 bidders thought they had found an unrecorded OTC...
