Foreign badges for identification
 

Hi any ideas on these items please, the Red and Blue Shields probably Italian but Air Force related? The Silver Shield (unhallmarked Silver? was black originally) possibly a school but hope you can help many thanks billy

I think the crossed sword and baton is part of a Generals shoulder rank badge.

the metal Bear on a crowned shield is the coat of arms of the City of Bern, so probably police or close, The "soyez ferme" plus lion & pennant is a collar badge of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade and the winged lions on red and blue are something to do with the Italian Marines "San Marco" Battalion.

Hi Tony thought that but as it was a Scimitar was thinking foreign and not British ? So if British is there more to make this complete?

Thanks Ian will label these up As to the Italian Marine badges any ideas on era? also what the colours might represent? Blue one looks earliest, as to the Bern Police badge its a nice Bronzy feel to it, will pass this along cherrs billy

Sword, bugle and oak badge is Dutch infantry Regiment Limburgse Jagers collar badge, instituted by AO Nr. 35 of 1951.

The stars are service stars for senior boy scouts (maroon backing)

Shields;
maroon = Allied Forces Southern Europe
blue = Allied Air Forces Southern Europe

the coronet with 5 leaves above coat of arms is a Spanish Province. Its name is on the badge.
