Rumours of my demise...

Contrary to rumour I'm not in prison, dead or trapped under a pile of badges, I have been a bit absent due to my motorsport blog taking off, life being lifey and not being able to spend as much time doing the badgey thing as I used to.

Missed some of you at Stratford recently which I was gutted about but again life got lifey, having checked dates I don't think I will be able to do anything until October, I hold season media passes for Silverstone and British GT so have to cover those events. Will do my best to catch up further afield say Aldershot or whatever fits in, I do miss you all very much and will do my best to be a better forum member as much as time allows.

Alli x

Pics attached of what keeps me busy, all photography my own, I do trackside photography now, I very much hope the lovely Cecil Beaton of the forum is proud of my improvement. And the race suit I have to wear in the pits for most endurance events as its flameproof. And I'm hot stuff obviously!

Damn, I had you in Prison in the forum sweep...lol

Good to see you back Ali, and glad your blog is also taking off. is it a secret? or can you let us know the web address? I have some mates who are GP mad, and might like it.

Cheers, Tim

PS I managed to miss practically everyone at Stratford, so even if you had gone I probably would have missed you.

Ha! I fear that monkey Engr9266 may be behind the prison rumour, no still very much at large, they haven't caught me yet.

I don't do a lot of GP although we did cover a bit last year, purely as its done to death by bigger agencies, and harder to get access for original images, although we did do Force India's car launch in Feb before they turned the car a hideous Barbie pink. We are starting to focus more on endurance as thats what floats my boat, but we do cover a lot of other stuff too, no its not a secret, this is me www.finishlinesports.net and my own motorsport and aviation images(chasing F35's last week) are gradually making their way on to my flickr if anyone is into that which is: www.flickr.com/photos/pitwallflower/

I'm fine thanks Bry, just really busy with motorsports, the divorce stuff is a pain in the neck its dragging on FOREVER but at least its civilised. Friends keep trying to lob unsuitable suitors at me but I keep ducking, at the moment I'm happy enough hanging off pit walls and doing what I love without anyone telling me what I can or can't do, been there done there done that and in no hurry to repeat it! Besides if I settle down again will have to make room for
another car and at the moment I am saving all the garage space for a Porsche and my Honda  unless the future ex Mr Tigerlily drives a Porsche...hmmm......;)

Frank Kelley 26-04-17 01:49 PM

What about badges, have you been "chasing" any of those?

No not really, I still keep an eye on various sites but I have been behaving myself on that front at least. Photography equipment is horrifically expensive, the latest lens I "need" will set me back £1300 also I'm after a Porsche to play with and I need to get my Direct Access Motorbike stuff tucked away which is another wedge. And being on my own I need to be more mindful of finances.
An ex boyfriend suggested I sold all my badges to help fund the Porsche. Note "ex" boyfriend ;)

Hope you are looking after the TS badges for me?
