RACT Bronze Badge

Hello to you all,
I have placed these images up on this section for "kingsley" to look at, as I can't do the "bb" thing in messages. :(:(:( But it is not an issue to show them here to you all. Here you go Colin, There is an item on ebay priced at £9.99 (RACT) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Br...0AAOSwH35ZotYX IMHO it is not worth anything due to it being only half of a badge (BRONZE) Here are some images of my RACT badges, then you can gauge the size of the badge in question, it is a very heavy, weighty badge and I believe it to be for a "Plaque/Shield". Thanks Ken, I suspected it was a plaque badge, or rather half of one.

What about this one? Maybe an earlier example of half a plaque badge? Certainly much higher quality.

Have you got an image of the reverse please FBK

Hello guys,
Cheers for that RACT :D:D I have another shield with RACT badge; Cost £1.00 will varish out the marks on the shield later. Here is an image; Attachment 179106 Metal, Aluminium and Plastic Attachment 179107 RCT cap badge added for sizing Note this badge has a silver front.:cool: FBK |
The Blue enamel and gilt picture, depending on the size is most probably the centre piece of the Royal Australian Army Service Corps Badge the officers wore.

Thanks Ken,
My enamel AASC badge has two pins on the back like cap badge fixings, unusual for a plaque badge. Looks like I need a large blank star to put it on. Kingsley |
