Signal Service Territorial
It is my understanding that the Telegraph Bn became the RE Signal Service. Which in turn provided signal service communications during WW1.
So in looking at this title I would have expected to see RE as opposed to T. Would the Territorial unit have existed alongside and during the same period as RE/Signal Svc? Or are they one and the same unit? thanks Jack http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps2tqyo640.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...psufq4iwaj.jpg |

Hello Jack, yes I believe the same time period. R A Westlake in his book Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles, says Divisional Signal Companies and Infantry Brigade Signal Sections generally wore the title T/Signal Service (As the one in my photo) or the two-piece version, which had a separate T. Your title obviously has the T attached.

Hello Phil, thank you for that detailed explanation. The photos of the display board is great. Interesting the different types of construction for this title.
