Army Medical Corps

Does anyone know what WWI medics wore on their arms to show they were medics? Would it be some form of red cross badge? Can anyone show a scan of one? A friend of mine whose grandfather was in the medical corps during WWI has asked about it but I can't help him.

The Geneva Red Cross on a white circular background within a yellow ring on a dark blue background.

Stretcher Bearers were soldiers of any cap badge not specifically RAMC

Thank you Tim and John. Now that I know what it looks like, I had a rummage through my boxes and found I have one of these, but in an all felt construction, so I may offer this to my friend to put with his grandfather's medals.
Many thanks again for your prompt help.

Further to my earlier post, my friend has now sent me a photo of his grandfather, which shows him wearing the badge on his arm. However, both my friend and I think that the badge doesn't appear to be in cloth. Was there a version which was perhaps made of printed tinplate, which it could be.? It just looks too smooth to be embroidered or felt. Can anyone throw any further light on this please?
