My lucky day
I picked this little lot up today,
Andy. |
Very nice, proves that there is still many a gem out there.
Interesting lugs on the SWB |
A very good pickup, wow.
|
Yes matti, it must have been made the same time as the ROAC badge and buttons to have the same lugs so would this have been badge no 2 or made with it for the trials if the ROAC is supposed to be the first.
|
Good chance Andy,brilliant find.
|
Great looking group. It is nice to see these finds still occurring.
Jack |
What a great find. The SWB in all gold is the same trial badge judging by the lugs, as the RAOC.
|
What a fantastic find Andy!:eek:
Do you think the same company made the badges as well as the Buttons, those buttons with the title are always being looked for. :D Marc :) |
I take it they are trial buttons as well.
|
I don't know marc, but I suppose they could have, I'm hoping chris may have an idea on this sleeper lot.
|
Andy,
good spawny bit of work there mate . . congratulations! To reiterate comments by good members above . . . they are still out there to find. The SWB may well break a few moulds and theories. There were a few problems with early anodised buttons. One would suspect that they are the earliest versions. Bess |
Congratulations on a cracking find. Really great to see such brand-new trial pattern badges . Well done and congratulations again!
All the best William |
Hi Magpie,
Nice find - SWB interesting with lugs too! Regards, Chris |
BTW Andy, (Magpie - good name!).
Wd also be interesting to know the back story. Where and how did you find them or where did you buy them? Congratulations again and all the best William |
Can't see any pictures?
