Line to rear left of centre star or small line to left of tail? Either way I would only consider a fault if showing to the front of a badge. Regards, Paul.

I'm very happy with this rare badge,
Indeed the flaw is as far as I can see on the reverse, this particular badge was a local find and it has always been in the possession of a lady since the war!
