1st Battalion, The Border Regiment titles

Hello,

Question for whomever might know. When (year) did the the 1st Btn, Border Regiment, part of the Air Landing Brigade for the 1st Airborne Division cease wearing the special, and I think unofficial issue, shoulder titles that are gold, green and purple? Many thanks! John

Welcome. Worn from 1942 to 1951. Then replaced by the yellow on brown BORDER and glider shoulder titles.
