This is a Colour Sergeants badge of the Royal Marines Artillery and was worn from 1902-23.
It again was embroidered directly into the sleeve and is not a stitch on badge
this badge has been trimmed down at sometime for display.
Before 1923 the Royal Marines had two branches The Royal Marines Light Infantry ( Red Tunics ) and the Royal Marines Artillery ( Blue Tunics ) in 1923
they were amalgamated into one and called Royal Marines.
