Hi Gents,
Picked this up recently and am hoping that someone will know for sure what it is. It's a nice small bronze P.O.W plumes with a "C" underneath and with a Firmin tab on the back.
Many Thanks in advance!
Colin

Hi Colin,
That’s a new one on me & I’ve not come across any reference to it being worn by The Welsh Reg’t.
Hwyl,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Yes, purely a guess that it may have a connection with a Welsh Regt. The P.O.W plumes are used as insignia by many Regiments as I'm sure you are probably aware of.
It's a well made badge though and would be nice to track down what Regiment, O.T.C / Cadet would have worn it.
Regards
Colin

Is it a C or a hanging loop ?

The London Rifle Brigade Cadets had a collar badge with CC attached to the bottom of it ( Churchill 1934 ) and the Middlesex Cadets had a collar with a C attached to the bottom ( Churchill 1466 ).

I dont know of any other examples other that the subject of this thread, so an interesting and rare badge.

P.B.
