Hi everyone

Thanks again to those who helped me with my Indian Burma Star.

I thought I'd share some medals someone at work gave me today.

I'm interested to know what people think of the Dunkirk commemorative medal - I've discovered they were issued to British personnel in the 70s by the town itself.

From what I've read it's missing it's certificate and ribbon - are these medals collectable. I can find replicas for sale but few originals.

Also, anybody have any idea about the Victoria "medal" - it looks like a coin that's been drilled but has clearly been worn as a medal in the past.

Thanks, opinions are gladly welcome.

Hi thanks.

Since posting, I've managed to find out a bit more.

According to the War Relics Forum thread - http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/orders...al-fake-29637/ - the Paris inscription was present on the initial batch awarded to French personnel.

So I'm guessing mine is a 1970s version for allied personnel. If anyone knows otherwise please venture an opinion.

Much appreciated for your help.
