NEW FORMATION SIGNS OR FICTITIOUS?

Hi
Spotted these on ebay the other day, are they worn or simply made up? Cheers Sean |
I have not seen them my self, but there are a lot of unit badges being produced and worn by a few individuals.

The JF SP Afg patch is not the issued one. The issued one was a black on green square and there were 2 versions depending on which way the SMG faced.
There was/ still is a whole industry making 'souvenir' patches that were not authorised to be worn. |
I have a Joint Forces Support badge which I picked up in the UK over Christmas, but will have to check which one it is and post it. I don't think it's the one here.

Many thanks Tim, I have the first two but the third one is new to me.
Cheers Sean |
Tim, I might've guessed you'd have them. Saves me the trouble of posting mine now. It's the first one.
Cheers, David |
I see the 148 CFOB patch is watermarked Miltrader and he's selling a lot of fakes on Ebay. Check out the different auctions and you will find a lot of questionable items, some of them in wrong colours and in wrong sizes. A lot of them hard to find patches from SF units

Another badge that is a fictitious, made up, collectors market badge........but being worn. As Marc says badges are constantly being produced and some are finding their way onto individuals kit. Also spotted being worn by 'Marine A'
