 my £1 offer was rejected.

Ya, that guy is constantly peddling fake silver badges
|
Why would anyone pay £120 for a completely spurious badge?

He even peddles fake silver Australian badges - all of which were never made in silver!
Mick |
And they're probably not sterling either, probably alloyed with lead or something to keep the weight but reduce the cost of making them.
|
a much discussed peddler of fake crap.

I too have just offered £1. In my opinion this chap is a dodgy individual.

Magic!
Perhaps if we were all to place a £1 offer he might get the message? :D |
I doubt it, he has been selling repro junk for years and unfortunately the uneducated new collectors are buying his crap.
Then when they come to sell the badge, they are in for a rude awakening. I really believe this is fraud, he lists in the original section of WW2 and is passing off his crap as original. Has anyone complained to ebay about him selling repros as original? Mike |
Mike,
If you want an hours reading just put Badgeman2005 in the search box for posts. regards |
He works for an auction house in Derby for a certain TV antiques personality.
