Hi Mike, I don't think it is worth faking. There were so many variations of this badge, it could be good. Maybe made in North Africa. Regards Andrew

I agree with Andrew. This particular badge is pretty common, so not worth faking at all. The variations range from lovely fire-gilt to very rough Egypt-made. You could almost make a sub-collection of the possible variants ! Regards Mike |
