Aust Coast Guard Auxiliary title

I've looked online for this organisation but nothing comes up with this exact wording. Can anyone provide some info about it and when this title might have been worn? Thanks.

Aust Coast Guard Auxiliary title

This organisation was founded in 1961.

I typed 'Coast Guards in Australia' into the search engine and it came up with an entry on Wikipedia which included a section on this organisation.

Sorry again but I was right! I just didn't go back far enough. Go to the site for the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard and look at their history. When the organisation was founded in the early 1960s' it was called the Australian Coast Guard Auxiliary with the name of the respective state - starting with the Australian Coast Guard Auxiliary of South Australia. I presume a standard shoulder title was used regardless of the state. The word 'Volunteer' only came into use in 1979.

Sorry about the confusion earlier!

Thanks, Pete -- I obviously need to sharpen up my research skills! The style of title might have been already obsolete by the early 60s, which could explain why it's unissued. Interesting that the first state was South Aust, as that's where I am and the titles turned up locally.
