NB Engineers, scarce button. I can't find a definite ref to the 1st Royal Scots. The 5th Regiment was organized on a two battalion basis in 1906, and there may have been a button for the battalions.
The 1 DAP Canada is the title for 1 Divisional Ammunition Park. No idea on the CANADA armlet. |
Hi Bill, Chris Brooker confirmed it being a Canadian button, maker is The Knowles Ringer Tailoring Co, Chicago, if needed will post a photo of the reverse tomorrow. (its too dark now, uk)
|
An image of the reverse is welcome. Chris may have indicated that it is, but I can't find the designation to suit in any of the history of the Black Watch.
