Unknown arm badge
 

I picked up a lot of badges recently and this one was included. It is sewn directly onto the bottom of a left hand sleeve. I may sell it if it isn't my field.

Any ideas as to what it is?

Are you sure it's Arab? I don't see any script?

I'm pretty sure it is due to the style and the fact that it does not bear any depictions of living entities ( as prohibited by Islamic scollars). It came with a lot of other Arabic items but they came from all over the middle east so could not pin it down further.

My only suggestion would be to show us the collection of other pieces and let us ee if we can see a connection?
