13th Light Infantry but who?

Picked this up recently on an impulse thinking it would be easy to ID. However I have struck out. Having seen several 13th LI badges but none topped with the crown. It looks similar to an Australian collar for the Macquarie Regt (13th) but this badge does not have the crown.

Marked P on the back for plated. It measure 26 x 30. A collar as far as I can see.

Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks
Jack

My best guess is an officers collar badge to the 13th Frontier Force Rifles post 1922.

Simon, had not thought of that connection. Let me run with that for a bit.

thanks

It might also be a field service cap badge. FSCs were retained in the British-Indian Army long after they fell out of favour in the British Army outside India. The badge used was often collar badge sized with twin loops and bearing a crown. However, most Rifle regiments favoured a smaller, rope boss mounted badge on the front of the cap.

I think it is Canadian - Collar badge for the 13th Regiment or (later) Royal Hamilton Light Infantry.
