Ten toughest shoulder flashes to find
A while back I inquired about the most expensive CEF infantry badges to find. As a complete switch, can any of our members come up with suggestions on the most difficult (and probably expensive) WW2 and post WW2 pre-unification army shoulder flashes to track down?

Not sure the question is refined enough to answer. There are parameters to be addressed. Eg, slip-ons, printed, embroidered?

Sorry,Bill. Set aside canvas and slip-ons.

Canadian Legion Maple Leaf Shows, Canadian Film & Photo Unit, Canadian Armoured Carrier Regt (bevo ptn), VIII PLNBH (flocked type), 1 Cdn Para Bn (there are several variations, and I would put the Cdn made example first and the Brit pattern with the cotton backing second; the starch back ptn is not rare), 36 Recce Regt, Canadian Fire Fighters for Great Britain. This is just a start and in no particular order.

Post war, the 19 Alberta Dragoons "Staghound" patches. Another wartime patch, ESTI (Enemy Scientific Technological Investigator.) The War Correspondent Canada titles.

A couple more. 26 Army Tank Battalion/ G & SF, and 27 Canadian Armoured Regiment.
