CAF(N) Clearance Diver badge

In 1971 the old RCN Clearance Diver rate badge was replaced with a completely newly designed badge, & this badge is particularly attractive.
It retains the old hard helmet motive in the centre and includes the double dolphins used in the the new CAF Submariner badge. As for the Sub badge, the top example is on the original green background; the lower example is embroidered on a black background for wear on the "new" 1984 pattern naval uniforms that reverted to the navy's original colour. Apparently this badge exists now gold wire on a white background presumably for wear on the white tunics:
