Heres my latest button finds from the site that has produced well over 100 19th century buttons and badges

Hello Les

Interesting finds again.

Two of the buttons are livery buttons so it does lend credibility to the earlier suggestion that these could be the remnants of the shoddy industry.

Did you have any success trying to find out whether there were any records of army camps in the vicinity?

Hi Roger these regiments were definitely in ireland at this time, and most of them I can trace to enniskillen the 31st st which the majority of buttons come from were listed in enniskillen at the time of Wellingtons funeral
