Not Able to View Albums / Post Topics
 

Hello,

My father, Mallard72, joined a few days ago and still is unable to view albums, photos or post topics. Can anyone help resolve this for him? I don't know exactly who to have him contact, admin wise.

His account has full access rights as far as I can see.

It used to be the case that you had to make a certain number of posts before 'access all areas' was allowed.
Has that changed?

Still the same.

All the basic posting and viewing of post images should be working ok from the start.....but....
Access to the albums/gallery is not allowed until you have a post in the main forum + a period of time, about a day. Some other sections are not viewable until you reach a certain post count...And... your first post is moderated..until one of us has cast an eye over it, this is just to stop the spammers getting on the forum.

Although I've overridden these restrictions in the case of BlueBadger senior.

Very kind of you Mike. And may I point out Bluebadger that if your dad has any difficulties using the image posting system there are many of us who'd be glad to assist. I'm quite happy to talk him through it by PM.

Been unable to view the gallery for a long time - just gave up, wish I had known this before. I'm not a collector, just interested, so I was never very likely to actually post in the forum.
