Silvered General List Cap badge

WWI issue, I haven't seen them silvered unless I'm looking in the wrong place. Is there something special about it or not?

Qualification Certificate

Suggestions? I have two certificates surplus to my needs and wonder if members could suggest a suitable future holder. Are they worth sending to a museum (if there is one for the Sherbrooke Regt.) or only worth saving to a collector of Sherbrooke ephemera ? They are as follows :-
Certificate of Military Qualification to D-439021 Cpl. C.A.Young, 2(R) Bn. Sherbrooke Regt. Practical Examination 15 Dec. 1945 as Sgt. infantry Rifle (RF)
And :-
DIEPPE 1942 certificate to Mr. Claude Young, attesting to him taking part in the raid on DIEPPE, 19th August 1942 as a member of the 2nd Canadian Div. And signed by the president of the DIEPPE Veterans and Prisoners of War Association. Also states that the certificate accompany a “Medaille de DIEPPE” (Which I do not have) This Certificate was issued 30th July, 1972.
Or by a long shot, anyone knowing of the whereabouts of any relatives?
