ACF Badge Approval
 

The ACF/CCF is currently in the process of rewriting its clothing regulations.

I was at a County level briefing today where they suggested that evidence of official approval of many of the current County Arm Badges could not be found and presumably Counties may have to reapply. I had read something similar online recently.

Many of the current badges have obviously been in use for many decades or even 1944 when approval for arm badges was first given. How were the original badges approved. Are there sealed patter cards for ACF cloth county Badges?
