Hi All,

I have a question re an eBay seller " fadedbanners". He (or she) seems to have some beautifully struck badges. In my desire to learn more about Canadian badges I wanted to know if anyone has had dealings with them (or indeed are they a forum member? As there are some amazing looking examples there.

Hello Tim, just had a look at fadedbanners badges and yes they look very sharp especially the Canadian Engineers badge.
I do not know or brought from them.

Thanks Jerry, they do, don't they! I stumbled across him, and was impressed with the quality. I am just not sure where Canadian badges are regarding repos etc, so thought I'd ask the experts.

Hi all, Faded Banners is a member here, but under another name. Tim Gushue is the vendor. I have known Tim almost 35 years, and he is a reputable dealer/collector. I would speak to his integrity.
As far as reproductions go, many CEF badges being copied and flogged, most notably by a well known repro badge dealer in the UK, but others as well. None of these are in Tim's offerings.

I think Tim is Terra Nova on here.

I've bought from Tim before at fairs but never on eBay. He always has good stuff and I would also vouch for him. I had no idea he was on the Forum under either of the names Bill mentioned.
