Hi folks here's 2 buttons iv had in my collection for a while the first 1 says fermanagh above the castle and number 29 at the bottom but fermanagh were never the 29th???? The back says murphy dublin. My other buttoney says enniskillen above the castle with 1st at the bottom? ?? Any help appreciated

Hello Les

The 'Fermanagh 29' is for the Fermanagh Militia, they had the precedence number 29 in 1793. Became the Fermanagh Light Infantry in 1833 with a revised number of 71.

Can't figure out the other one at the moment!
