Hi all,
Thought I would kick this off in the Canada section.

Nice find Dan.

Yep, very nice.

As a new Canadian collector, I don't have anything too fancy, but I was very pleased to get this one, so finely made and very pleasing to the eye, well, for me, anyway.

Cheers, Tim

Nice one Tim, one of the more unusual CEF badges.

Cheers, I am currently living in France, so do have a soft spot for French linked Canadian badges, doesn't hurt that they (actually all) Canadian badges are just excellent looking.

Cheers, Tim

I picked up this Infantry School Corps Glengarry badge just after Christmas, I'd been trying to acquire it from the previous owner for the last three years. Saying I was pleased to bring it home would be an understatement.

Good day gents,

Finally found time to contribute to this thread.

That is a very nice badge YL (from one Royal to another).

For the rest, attached are my best 2017 finds. The first is the RCN Safety System Tech rating. Two nice variations. The second is the second version of the first CF Rigger qual wing, having the Maple Leaf at the base of the shroud lines. The ironic thing about this one is that I acquired it from a collector in the UK. Go figure!!

All the best in 2018.

I had a GREAT 2017, picking up all manner of useful items for my many collections. For badges, I think one of my best buys was a fantastic 16th CEF officers badge in sterling. The condition was great as was the price.

I'm really looking forward to 2018 and I hope all the Forum has health and wealth moving into 2018!

Greg
