RAC Helmet

Hello

Can anybody help me with the identification of this helmet?

I have been told it was worn by RAC units performing guard duties or during special parades/ceremonies.

It appears to be a standard M1 style helmet, gloss black paint, ribbon appears to be of the same material I have seen on a number of armoured epaulette tabs, badge appears to be a standard RAC badge with slider.

Was it ever worn or is it just someone's "fantasy" helmet?

The helmet is not British and the British Army do not parade in helmets like that ever,

A side, and interior view may revel which Country it is from.
