Information Please
I recently acquired this facing pair of what I think are guilt brass RAF sleve eagles as can be seen from the photos they have 2 fixing bolts with brass nuts an the backing plates are present the eagles have a slight curve to them.I origionally thought they might be 2 pathfinder badges from the iffy photo I origionally got but as they are a facing pair i think they are sleve eagles but from what time period and what uniform I don't know. Comments please

I'll go with WWI era RAF eagles but like you, I figure what do I know. I'm not clear on whether they should be paired with the crown or not. Steve (arrestingu) will have an accurate and useful comment eventually, I'm sure. He has a marvelous group of eagles; see a recent post in RNAS on eagles.

The WW1 eagles generally have three screw posts. Most facing pairs in brass with two are taken from the post WW2 Master Aircrew badges.
