British Mapping - France 1944

Is there amongst the membership an expert in the mapping used by the British Army in France in 1944? If so could he please PM me? Thanks. Mike

Eddie,
Thanks. Thanks to Forum members my problem has almost been resolved. Your mention of Michelin maps reminds me that to my surprise on arrival in Croatia c 2002 I discovered that most of our maps were British copies of mapping done by the Geo Sections of the Wehrmacht in 1942/43 - and very high quality it was too. Weren't most of the weapons and vehicles from the same source. Or was that the 1990's excursion?

Marc,
It's been a long day. Delete 2002. Insert 1992 (24 Airmobile Field Ambulance RAMC deployed to Pleso Airbase, Zagreb. I was their so-called "Security Officer". Mike
