Motorcycle Despatch Riders Helmet
 

Hi,
I picked this up today dated 1944. Myself and the seller were unsure if the painted decal was to the Recce Corps or other. Through a search I have seen one similar but with a vertical orientation and also a square of two coloured triangles decals to the Recce Corps. Can anyone identify this please. My Headress collection is non specific so I don't mind either way.
