unidentified islamic naval badge
 

This large gold bullion naval officer's cap badge has baffled me for ages. I recall being told by the person from whom I got it that it belonged to a foreign / commonwealth officer on HMS Fearless in the 70s. Th.e crown resembles the Iranian style (out of the question - so possibly Brunei?). All assistance much appreciated
