Hi all,

This badge was found during construction near a former barracks. Any idea what unit it belong to?

Thanks,

Stephen

In May 1918 the 2nd-Line (home defence) unit of the regiment (NDH) went to Ireland with the 2nd Cyclist Brigade and was stationed at Longford until the end of the war. There is no other record of the NDH serving in Ireland during its existence. It was amalgamated in 1920.

The badge in the OP is a Lambourne made example.
