Three Frontier Force Rifles metal should titles. I am just wondering when was the KC introduced/dropped and if the red cloth backing had any kind of significance.... thank you in advance, gents!

My guess, and just that, is that the red backed titles were meant to go on a rifle green tunic, as that colour combination is standard for Rifles units. Perhaps mess dress or No.1s?

The crown was worn by 'Royal' battalions, in this case by the 6th Royal Battalion (Scinde), 13th Frontier Force Rifles. The other battalions wore the title sans the crown.

Brass bazar made 13th Frontier Force Rifles title

another addiction to my collection: a poor quality brass bazar made title of the 13 Frontier Force Rifles: as in case of worsted slip on epaulettes, one finds the the initials of the Regiment can be either FFR or FFRif. Therefore Frontier Force Regiment and Frontier Force Rifles?
