'theatre made' - in India or Egypt. Look up where the Camerons were stationed ! Battalion 'War Diaries' often note 'local' provisions.

There were also regiments such as the Western Australian Highlanders. Who wore a Camerons badge. And I think I've seen similar lugs on Australian badges ?
