SEAC LoC FS?

Is this a SEAC 2 Lines of Communication formation sign? It was sold as a Scout badge.

If it is, can anyone please enlighten me as to where they served, and what formed units, if any, were under command?

A very nice example of the sign of 2 Area SEAC - essentially an administrative formation, based I believe , in Singapore from liberation in 1945 until dissolution of SEAC in 1946. There's a printed version of the same sign. I'll look into details of 2 Area SEAC later, but I think they will be pretty sparse. Mike
