Can anyone tell me whether this is a general patch for the Greek Army Air Corps, or whether it was used in a UN operation, as it is in English?

I think this is a commerative patch rather than an official issued item, the sun represents Macedonia ie Northern Greece, there are quite a few unofficial badges with this motive as its a very 'live' issue here in Greece in relation to the naming of the FYROM/Skopia that's not to say it hasn't been worn but I haven't come across this one yet.
