MID oak leaves

Some time in the late 60s/early 70s, I purchased various buttons, badges, medal ribbons etc from a local junk shop. Among the trove was a small plastic jewel box containing half a dozen bronze oak leaves (MID devices) for the WW1 Victory Medal. I didn't pay them much attention but have of late been attempting to put my house in order, so to say.
The box has a small label with an unidentified marking, possibly representing cancellations privy to the shop owner? Or is this applicable in some way to the devices themselves? Would be happy if someone could throw light on this. GTB |
It looks like a doodle to me .

It is unlikely that an individual would be awarded half a dozen MID clasps, so I wonder if they are a tailor's stock.
