I picked this up a few months back. I assume as a small island unit that was disbanded in 1947 that there can't be too many around. Does anyone have the same badge to provide a comparison. I've checked the forum for threads but drawn a blank. The feel and construction would make me think original, but it would be good to confirm.

Thanks for the confirmation John. A bit of internet searching revealed that Bosleys had sold an OSD and a w/m one quite recently in what used to be called their 'postal auctions'. However, I guess there isn't many around.
