Victorian artillery HP and NSW artillery slouch hat badges
 

hi all
had this badge in another section unidentified but thanks to keith now identified. i used a lancers badge to reference the size of the badge and as they were incorrectly identified as fusiliers badges.
Victorian artillery helmet plate and NSW artillery slouch hat badges.
Never had one of these before and am grateful to Keith.

The State Library of South Australia photograph collection has a photo of a field artillery officer of No 1 SA Bty AFA circa 1908 wearing this on his Forage Cap, also another group photo of a Victorian battery in the first decade of the 20th Century where a couple of blokes are wearing it on forage caps.
