unidentified badges

Has any member come across either of these badges before? The first is of the Border Regiment bronze or bronze brass It gives the impression that it is half cast and half pressed. It has a lozenge brazed in the recess of the crown that is impressed Firmin London. The second badge maybe of a school. The slider is impressed Firmin London.[

The Border badge sounds like an Officers collar badge (if it has lugs) or a cap badge if it has blades.
