All Saints' College Bathurst Cadet cap badge
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all,
I think from the motto that this could be a peaked cap badge as worn by the All Saints' College Bathurst army cadets. They were formed in 1878 and disbanded in 1883 and were not re- formed. Or is it ? Cheers Dean. |
hi dean
what type of attachment is on the back? certainly looks like its All Saints' College Bathurst but doest look that old. maybe it is or maybe its just a school badge bc |

Hi bc,
It is lugged and school badge would not have crossed rifles on it I would have thought. Age is a quandary. Cheers Dean |
hey dean
yep it looks cadet like. rifles and lugs. btw the manufacturer is Millers badges who were founded around 1900 in sydney. there still in existence. i wonder if they have records? or contact the school. im sure they have an historian of some sort from the look of the badge i would say 1960s-1990s. that's my guess bc |
Thanks bc and I am sure there are bound to be some cadet badge collectors out there - I sold some years ago and a few people contacts me with lots of knowledge about them at the time pre- Forum. Your info is really helpful and could well be a later badge as there are references to cadets from the college of more recent times but nothing I can pick up what badges were worn etc.
Cheers Dean |
Hi Dean,
Are you a cadet collector? Always looking to meet other cadet collectors to swap information and badges etc with!! Regards, Mike |
Hi Mike,
No sorry I get into enough strife with British infantry, cavalry and yeomanry so I was showing these out of interest. Have moved them on to a Forum member as as a swap. I do collect OTC badges to British family regiments - Lincoln's, Durham, Leicester's and Notts & Derby, cheers Dean. |
